1Who stands behind Kumodesk

The app and the site kumodesk.bondsoft.pl are made and published by Oleksandr Bondarenko Software Solutions, ul. Wałowa 23A/24, 80-858 Gdańsk, Poland, tax number (NIP) 5833576264.

2What Kumodesk is

Kumodesk is a program for macOS, Windows and Linux: a board without edges on which web pages, notes, tasks, a calendar, tables and other windows stand side by side. The site describes the program and leads to its installers.

There are no accounts, no payments and no subscriptions. You do not conclude a paid contract with us by using either.

3The licence

The app is free of charge, for personal use and for work. It is given under the MIT licence: you may use it, copy it and pass it on, provided the copyright notice and the text of the licence stay with it.

The name Kumodesk, its sign, and the texts and pictures of this site remain ours. Please do not present them as your own, and do not use them in a way that suggests we stand behind someone else’s product.

4Where to get it, and updates

The only place we publish installers is the releases page on GitHub, where every button of this site leads. We cannot answer for copies taken from anywhere else.

The installers are not signed with a paid certificate yet, so macOS and Windows show a warning at the first start; the install steps on the site say what to press.

The app looks for a newer version when it starts and offers to install it. You may decline, and you may switch the check off in the settings.

5Your work is yours, and in your keeping

Everything you make in Kumodesk stays in a folder on your computer and belongs to you. We do not have it, so we cannot return it if the computer is lost or the folder is deleted.

The app saves a spare copy of its files at every start, but that is no replacement for copies of your own: please keep them the way you keep copies of other important files.

6Other people’s sites and programs

A web window shows a site that belongs to someone else. Its owner decides what it does, what it costs and what it does with your data; your account there is an agreement between you and that owner.

The same holds for AI assistants, the code editor, plugins and any program you start from the board: Kumodesk gives them a place to stand, and does not answer for what they do or say.

7Fair use

Please do not use the app or the site to break the law or to harm other people, do not attack the site or overload it on purpose, and do not hand out changed builds under the name Kumodesk.

8No warranty

Kumodesk is given as it is. We work to make it dependable, but we do not promise that it suits a particular purpose, that it is free of errors, or that it will keep working with every site and every system.

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for lost data, lost profit or other loss that comes from using the app or the site, or from being unable to use them.

Nothing here takes away rights that the consumer law of your country gives you and that cannot be waived, and nothing excludes liability for harm done on purpose.

9The site

The site is there to inform. We may change it, move it or take a page down without notice. Links to other sites are given for convenience; we do not answer for what is on them.

10Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Polish law. If you use Kumodesk as a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country you live in, and you may bring a dispute before the court of your own place of residence.

Before going to court, please write to us: most things are settled in a letter or two.

11Changes to these terms

When the app or the site changes in a way these terms must reflect, we change this page and the date at its top. The new text applies from that date to everything you do with Kumodesk afterwards.
